Fr. Josef Murgas was a pioneer in the radio industry and an inventor. He was also a parish priest for the Catholic Slovak Church located on North Main Street in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Though he died young he gave us many inventions and left a legacy for the Sacred Heart School children for many decades after his death.
