Dear member of the Slovak Catholic Federation,

            As National President of the Slovak Catholic Federation, I am honored to announce the 57th National Convention of the Slovak Catholic Federation, which will be held Sunday, April 26, 2009 through Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.  National Conventions are generally held every 4 years. 

            The Liturgy of Thanksgiving, which opens our Convention, is on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 3:00pm at St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, 924 North Front Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. The host pastor is:  Monsignor Robert F. Kozel.  God willing, the celebrant and homilist of the Convention Liturgy will be His Eminence, Jozef Cardinal Tomko, Prefect Emeritus, Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

            Following our Liturgy of Thanksgiving, a Banquet will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel & Conference Center (formerly Holiday Inn) located at Routes 512 and 22, 300 Gateway Drive, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Cost per person for the banquet is:  $35.00.
